Sponsorship Guideline

On behalf of the board of Chinese American Diabetes Association (CADA), I am writing to invite you as a major sponsor of the upcoming Annual Scientific Symposium of CADA scheduled to take place in Chicago, starting from the evening of June 10 to the noon of June 12, 2020.

The Chinese American Diabetes Association (CADA) is a non-profit organization approved by the Internal Revenue Service of the United States of America (Employer Identification Number: 38-3709185). Its members include academic Principal Investigators at the ranks of Assistant Professors and up, and pharmaceutical scientists with Chinese ethnic origin in North America and Asia. Currently, the organization has close to 200 regular members.

The goals of our annual meeting are to promote the missions of CADA, which are to promote scientific research in diabetes and related areas, to encourage advancement of biological and medical knowledge toward the cure of diabetes, to provide a platform to facilitate professional interaction among CADA members, and to promote collaboration between academic and pharmaceutical settings.

We believe that your support is critical for the success of this meeting and our organization. We will conduct the meeting in accordance with the guidelines of ACCME Standards for Commercial Support of Continuing Medical Education of 1992, of AMA Guidelines on Gifts to Physicians, and of U.S. FDA draft policy statement on industry-supported scientific and educational activities. Below are the two different levels available for your tax-exempt sponsorship/donation:

  • Gold Level: $3,000 toward 1/4-page advertisement published in the meeting program and product exhibition in the meeting hall;
  • Platinum Level: $5,000 toward a 6-min oral presentation, 1/4-page advertisement published in the meeting program, and product exhibition in the meeting hall. In addition, your company will be featured on our newly designed website for one year.

To help us better plan for the conference, the deadline for CADA sponsorship application is January 25, 2020. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to hearing from you.
