Program Committee

Aims

  1. To organize CADA annual meetings, regional meetings, and retreats.
  2. To co-organize satellite meetings and joint symposia with other organizations, such as SCBA, CALS, and CDS.

Professional Development Committee

Aims

  1. To promote career development for rising star postdocs and faculty members
  2. To facilitate trainee recruitment and research exchange.

Advisory Committee

Aims

1. Make recommendations to the Board to help advance CADA’s visions and missions.
2. Assist in identifying challenges and areas of improvement and growth for CADA.
3. Serve as a liaison between members and the Board; Listen to the members for their suggestions and requests.
4. Serve as an advocate for the Board, communicating CADA policies and decisions to the members.

 

Communication Committee

Aims

  1. To maintain and update the CADA website, X account, and newsletters
  2. To increase the publicity of CADA members and their discoveries
  3. To assist the Program Committee for fund raising

Happy Hour Committee

Aims

1. To communicate science, to connect members, and to promote wellbeing at challenging times.
2. To organize the “Happy Hour” webinar series.
