To honor CADA members for their scientific achievements and valuable contributions to the CADA community, we are delighted to announce the call for nominations for 2025 CADA awards. Click here to be directed to the CADA Awardees webpage.

The CADA Achievement Award recognizes a CADA member who has demonstrated leadership in scientific research and lasting dedication to the association.

The CADA Young Investigator Award recognizes a young investigator (typically at the rank of Assistant Professor or equivalent and within 7 years of independence) who has demonstrated outstanding scientific leadership and productivity after independence. Exceptions can be made on the 7-year limit for family or other reasons with a support letter from the department Chair or equivalent supervisors.

You are welcome to nominate any current members, including self-nomination, for each award (except for current board members – Shuibing Chen, Zhuoxian Meng, Annabel Wang, Hai-Bin Ruan, Zhiping Pang, Jingjing Zhang, and Yanlin He). Please send the nominee’s name, a summary of achievements (or a reference letter), and a CV to CADA (cadametabolism@gmail.com) before March 15th, 2025. Only CADA permanent (PI) members are eligible to nominate candidates. An ad hoc committee will be formed to make the selection. The awardees will be announced at the upcoming CADA annual meeting in Chicago on June 17-20, 2025.

This year, we will also give out the 5th CADA Service Award, recognizing one individual for their excellent service and contribution to the organization. The CADA Board will nominate and make the selection by a majority vote.
